The Varada Heritage
Sri Varada Academy draws its inspiration from our grandfather, Late Shri K. S. Varadarajan (1926–2004) — a pioneer in cost accounting and education.
As one of the earliest members of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) (Membership No. 161) and a Fellow of the British Teaching Institute, London, he played a significant role in establishing wider recognition for the profession in India.
In 1971, he founded Alpha Systems Coaching Centre, Chennai, the first ICWAI-recognized private coaching centre. What began with just a handful of students grew into a landmark institution that trained thousands of professionals.
Beyond academics, he made education accessible by offering free education and hostel facilities for underprivileged and SC/ST students, creating true inclusivity in learning.
His values of excellence, service, and inclusivity continue to guide Sri Varada Academy as we carry forward his vision of education that empowers and uplifts society.

With more than four decades of experience in finance, taxation, corporate strategy, and leadership, Shri Bhaskar K. V. has held senior roles across diverse industries, including real estate, technology, and manufacturing. Today, he continues to contribute as a consultant and mentor in finance, accounting, and taxation. His commitment to nurturing talent and strengthening professional ethics mirrors the values of dedication and excellence set forth by our grandfather, Late Shri K. S. Varadarajan.
Mrs. Jayashree Rajendran
Dedicated to education for more than three decades, Mrs. Jayashree Rajendran serves as Senior General Manager at Learning Links Foundation, where she leads quality, academics, and teacher training initiatives. She has worked closely with the Tamil Nadu State Government on curriculum design, e-learning, and professional development programs for educators, contributing meaningfully to educational reform. Her lifelong passion for empowering teachers and students embodies the spirit of inclusivity and service that lies at the heart of Sri Varada Academy
Mrs. Saraswathi K. V. T.
A Fellow Cost Accountant with over 30 years of expertise, Mrs. Saraswathi K. V. T. has led finance, legal, and strategic operations across technology, consulting, and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Accounts and Finance Officer at MIT Vishwaprayag University, she plays a vital role in shaping financial strategies that support higher education. Her leadership in both corporate and academic arenas reflects the family’s enduring belief in education as a transformative force
